Not interested in perfect. Very interested in real.
Located on historic Corn Street in the centre of the city, Old Council House, Bristol, often referred to as Bristol Register Office, is one of Bristol’s most elegant and atmospheric wedding venues. Its grand architecture, sweeping staircases, ornate ceremony rooms, and iconic balcony overlooking the old city create the perfect backdrop for my natural, candid wedding photography.

Surrounded by Bristol’s historic streets and hidden corners, it’s ideal for couples wanting a stylish city-centre wedding with plenty of character and authentic moments throughout the day, as Pauline and Dale did.
After the ceremony, the couple continued the celebrations aboard one of the boats from Bristol Packet, cruising through the heart of the city with family and friends while taking in Bristol’s harbourside sights. It made for a relaxed, fun atmosphere and allowed me to continue documenting the wedding naturally as the day unfolded for real.
It was an incredibly fun and informal day, exactly the reason Pauline and Dale had chosen me to photograph their wedding in a relaxed, natural and unobtrusive way – which allowed them to simply enjoy their day with friends and family.
Here’s a small number of selected photos from their wedding day.
