Life Goes Down In Wally Town

Wallington is a town in the London Borough of Sutton, in South London, England. It is 9.7 miles (15.6 km) south south-west of Charing Cross.” – Wikipedia

I lived in Wally Town from 2013 until 2021, when these photographs were made. Although it is just under 10 miles from central London it feels a million miles away. Not suburban enough to be Surrey, nor urban enough to be gritty saaarrrf London, it may as well be the guts inbetween the two.

Despite that, this is my love letter to Wallington.
