Looking back at a random photo from the archives, taken on this very day in the past.

It should have been Autumn, but at the start of October in 2011 a late Indian Summer struck London.
This image was taken in Greenwich, London on the 1 October that year. Fallen autumnal leaves are scattered across the ground, but as you can tell from the man’s attire the weather was unseasonably warm.
Of course, my eye was caught by the flowery patterns of his shirt and trolley that echoed those leaves around him.
