I’m very pleased to say that I have an image included in an exhibition themed around the colour blue, at the Glasgow Gallery of Photography.
‘Benidorm Blue’ is not an image I’ve shared anywhere before, so it was rather surprising but pleasing that it was selected for the exhibition. Shot in March 2020, on a Ricoh GRIII, in the Spanish holiday resort of Benidorm, it was captured just a few days before Spain went into a national lockdown due to the Covid Pandemic.
The exhibition runs from 7 October 2023 to 2 November 2023 at the Merchant City Gallery of the Glasgow Gallery of Photography which is found at 57 Glassford Steet, Glasgow, G1 1UG. This is a shared space, the gallery is in the lower level of Bigglestones bookshop.
