My ‘Bristol Moon’ shot was one of three images I submitted to the Martin Parr Foundation Photo Awards 2023, based on the theme of “Humour is Everywhere”, and was the image from that three he chose to highlight and discuss.
I was flattered that Martin had only nice and positive things to say about the image on the Zoom call with foundation members. I was invited to discuss the image and explain how it had come about. It also seemed to give him a good giggle on the call.
Whilst I didn’t make the Top 3, I’m still thrilled that Martin was so complimentary about the image.
